Reflection: Today I learnt that length/area is the same. Toolkit: I used the Think toolkit by being creative and I also used the Use Language toolkit because of Learn, Create, Share.

Reflection: It was hard for the last one but it was fine for the 1st and 2nd one.

Today I worked on maths. I was working out the question 24*5. I tried doing 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 +24.

Today I learnt some more place value on e-ako maths, I didn't understand place value houses and places but I put my best effort into it.

Reflection: Today I learnt how to do place value, eg. 69 41 64 46 59 41

My maths reflection : I learnt how to make a kahoot . You have to go onto get a kahoot and then log in and you can click on quiz and add all the required stuff and then you can start making questions  

Today I learned time in Maori ! Somebody says "Ko te aha te wā". And you answer with "Ko te (time) karaka te wā." In the time you put in Tahi, Rua, Toru, Wha, Rima, Ono, Whitu, Waru, Iwa, tekau  (Might be wrong spelling).  R: I learned how to say the time in Maori . It was fun learning it. I would like to teach it as a student workshop. 

Today I have done some problem solving for maths. I had to figure out what strategy some people used in the book and then I solved a question. The question was "I ordered 5 gym mats costing $98 each. What was the total cost." You can see my working below.

One day I did some maths. Below this text is my question Problem 1. You have these three Cuisenaire rods: a. In what ways can you use these rods to measure a length of 6 centimeters? b. There are 10 types of fantails but only 3 types live in New Zealand.  The oldest age we have  got in New Zealand of the fantail is 3 years.

One day I learnt how to play chess. To play you have to capture every piece on the other team. You can also try and check the other team a bunch of times that they get checkmate.

At maths time I went to a math station with shapes! You could make patterns. Here are some pictures.
